Leisure Gardens

In many of the gardens, and I don't remember which one it was for this picture, (we went to MANY), locals come in and enjoy the day, chatting up with friends and strangers, playing something that resembles hacky-sack but with a feathered ball thing, (I'd love to know what its called if you know.) and in this case, taking a nap. I think it's all the trees that are thriving in these gardens, pure and undisturbed by the pollution that has engulfed Beijing and many other parts of China. IIf you've gone in previous years like I did in 2004, you notice the difference immediately once you step out of the airport. Breathing problems developed the first few days due to them. It's THAT bad.

I'd sleep there too.
