Taipei, Taiwan was a blur. The five days there flew by, each day, Susan and I immersing ourselves in the food and what we could of their 'lifestyle'. We didn't venture to the localest of local joints but ate the street food, did not go to chain restaurants (except dinner that very first night) right after we landed and checked-in. We found swarms of local stands in the Sun-Yat Sen Memorial area - a lot of them selling homemade, fresh out of the oven buns, fruits and vegetables. This was one of the larger fruit stands in the area.
